JOB TITLE: Procurement - Category Manager - Third Party Operations\n\nThe COMPANY\nOur client is a well-established not for profit trust. They are now one of the UK's largest organisations in their field employing over 4000 people. Our client is looking for a Category Manager - Third Party Operations to make a strategically important contribution to the business.\n\nThe ROLE\nThe Category Manager - Third Party Operations will be required to:\n* Drive implementation and continually review procurement strategy \n* Develop supplier relationships \n* Optimises value and manages risk within the category \n* Educate stakeholders and promote best practice procurement \n\nThis is hybrid position.\n\nThe CANDIDATE\nOur client is looking for a professional Category Manager - Third Party Operations candidate with solid experience of end-to-end Category Management including: \n* Strategy development \n* Tendering\n* Commercial and contract negotiations \n* Supplier relationship management\n* Knowledge of key commercial contract risks and opportunities \n* Experience of health and social care would be advantageous \n* Strong background in procurement/purchasing/buying roles\n* Good level of education\n\nSALARY: £50-60,000 Depending on experience \n\nALTERNATIVE TITLES: Buyer - External Services, Procurement - Third Party Services, Category Manager in Health Care, Procurement - Social Care\n\n\nLOCATION: Oxford\nThis role is commutable from:\nOxford\nBicester\nKidlington\nWitney\nFaringdon\nAbingdon\nAylesbury\nDidcot\nThatcham\n\nMana Resourcing is a specialist recruitment company working within the Engineering, Sales, IT and Commercial sectors.
