Job Description

• Support the genetic characterization of cell lines expressing therapeutic proteins.
• Responsible for molecular biology activities that demonstrate genetic and epigenetic foundations of cellular phenotypes, such as nucleic acid extractions, ddPCR, RT-PCR, PCR, Next Sequencing library preparation, Northern blotting, Southern blotting, and molecular cloning. 
• Additional responsibilities include mammalian cell culture, experimental design, data analysis, troubleshooting, participation in project teams and maintaining detailed records.
• The work is highly collaborative; requiring excellent communication skills and a desire to be part of a team.

Qualifications

• At least a MS in Biotechnology or Cell Biology, other scientific related fields can be considered. PhD level .
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, nucleic acid extraction, Next Sequencing library preparation, ddPCR and PCR are required.
• Northern & Southern Blotting , not required.
• Authorization for employment in the United States.
