CERTIFIED CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR

We are looking for a Certified Construction Inspector for the Lake Charles area to join our team. The right candidate will have a background in the field, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety. The Construction Inspector is to monitor daily on-site quality assurance, construction progress and prepare daily quality assurance reports to streets, highways, bridge, drainage and other utilities projects.

Responsibilities:

• High School diploma with 10+ years experience in Structural Concrete construction projects
• LADOTD certifications Structural Concrete required. Additional certifications a plus.
• Out of State DOTD Certifications could be acceptable to LADOTD)
• Computer skills include Microsoft Office Software including MS Word and MS Excel
• Work with architects, contractors, and engineers on a daily basis.
• Communication Skills both oral and written in English
• Ability to read and comprehend civil engineering drawings and specifications
