Channel Islands and Europe Payroll Specialist - (London-based, Human Resources)

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? You will work on the day -to-day processing and administration of the Channel Islands and other European payrolls. What will you do? Responsible for processing monthly changes including starters, leavers, salary changes etc on the payroll system within deadline. Work with the payroll vendor and make sure all payroll processes are completed . Process any supplemental run and raise payment where necessary. Preparing and Posting of monthly payroll journals. Work with the wider Finance team to reconcile payroll ledger accounts. Liaise with the Tax authority when necessary. Responding to employee payroll queries within SLA. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Experience in overseas payroll. Very strong communication skills (both oral and written) and an ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels. Able to work with the global payroll team with a basic understanding of international payroll processes. Hard-working and enthusiastic, have a high level of initiative and a willingness to learn. intermediate Excel skills. Nice-to-have Experience of working with WorkDay an advantage.
