Chapter Lead Architect

Job Description

As a Chapter Lead Architect ( m/f) , you will lead and manage a team of architects responsible for middleware squads delivering advanced IT services. Your main responsibilities: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment between architecture solutions and the organization’s goals Oversee the design and development of middleware solutions to ensure they meet functional, technical, and security requirements Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for middleware technologies Work closely with middleware squads to ensure that architectural designs are properly implemented and maintained Collaborate with other chapter leads, product owners, and squad members to align architecture objectives with overall project goals Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication between middleware architects and other technical teams. Drive initiatives to optimize middleware architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness Identify and implement emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance middleware services and capabilities Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Serve as the primary point of contact for middleware architecture-related queries and decisions Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on architecture strategies, progress, and challenges Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure middleware solutions align with consumer needs and expectations Your profile: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Extensive experience (min 7 years) in IT architecture, with a focus on middleware solutions Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop technical teams Strong expertise in middleware technologies such as WebLogic, API Gateway, and containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies and their application in architecture design and development Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Fluency in English (written and spoken) Experience in a public administration or similarly complex environment is desirable
