Chemical Plant Operator

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a long-standing client of ours in their search for a skilled Chemical Plant Operator. Our client has recently received some significant investment and are set to kickstart a significant period of growth.



Having been well established within the semiconductor market, they are taking the initiative and developing their own markets, with a huge focus on research and development. These growth plans are part of an intentional 10-year growth and development plan.



They are seeking to appoint a Chemical Plant Operator on a permanent basis to join their facilities team.



Responsibilities include:



* Performing operational maintenance and control on site



* Monitor Process conditions to ensure that the plant is controlled to exact specifications.



* Utilise a building management system to monitor progress



* Assist with site chemical and gas deliveries, assisting third party technicians with unloading and loading of chemicals



* Track all maintenance activities and daily tasks



* Keep detailed plant logs and reports and be proactive by identifying plant constraints and potential improvements.



Experience required:



* Previous experience on a top tier Comah site



* Knowledge of building management



* Able to assemble and reassemble basic mechanical components



* Ability to work alone or as a part of team



Shifts:



* Continental shift pattern - 2 days, 2 nights.



* 30% shift allowance on top of highly competitive salary package



* Overtime available
