Civil and Structural Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil and Structural Engineer proficient in STAAD Pro to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various civil and structural projects. Your expertise in STAAD Pro will be essential in ensuring the stability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of designs. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities : Perform detailed structural analysis and design for a wide variety of civil and structural projects using STAAD Pro. Develop and review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications. Design structural components, including foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and other elements as required by the project. Carry out site assessments, surveys, and inspections to ensure that designs align with environmental and safety regulations. Prepare structural reports, calculations, and other documentation in accordance with industry standards. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with other disciplines, including architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams, to ensure the successful integration of designs. Provide technical support to project managers during construction, and assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues on-site. Conduct structural integrity assessments for existing structures and propose necessary improvements or retrofits. Perform load and stress analysis to determine material specifications, and optimize designs for cost and performance. Stay updated with new technologies, design methodologies, and industry standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (X+ years) working as a Civil and Structural Engineer. Proficiency in STAAD Pro software for structural analysis and design. Solid understanding of structural design principles, including load analysis, material properties, and design codes.
