Qualifications
· Possess a basic understanding of principles, practices of civil engineering, approval, and permitting process for civil projects.
· Understand project schedules and budgets, and work efficiently within project guidelines.
· Experience with drafting boundary and topographic surveys, pipe networks, parcels, and subdivisions.
· Working knowledge/experience using Civil 3D and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
· U.S. Army Corps of Engineers drafting experience is a plus.
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $26.00-$33.00.

Your Day to Day:
· Works in conjunction with an engineer on the preliminary design of the site, grading, water/wastewater layout, and storm sewer layout.
· Assists in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for subdivisions, commercial developments, multifamily developments, and public works projects.
· Performs plan drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.

Requirements
Education
· Associates or technical degree in Drafting/Design .
Experience
· Typically, 0-4 years of experience is required.
