Civil CAD Technician – Exeter\n\n £30,000 - £40,000\n\n A highly regarded Civil and Structural Engineering practice requires an experienced Civil technician with a portfolio centred around highways and drainage. \n\n Responsibilities include:\n\nProducing detailed infrastructure drawings and models\nLiaising with clients and contractors\nAttending design team meetings\nLearning to use cutting edge BIM software such as Civils 3d and microdrainage\nWorking closely with and assisting the Senior Engineers\n Mentoring junior members of staff and distributing work accordingly\nThis practice covers traditional engineering sectors such as; education, residential, commercial and healthcare. However, they are recognised for their contemporary yet historically in keeping designs.

\n\n Essential Criteria:\n\nExcellent construction knowledge\nExtensive drainage design experience\nHighway design\nExperience producing flood risk assessments\nExcellent knowledge of the design process and design office experience\nProficient with AutoCAD\nProactive\nSuccessful candidates will be required to engage with clients and build relationships, so a willingness to do this is essential. This role comes with a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 + package depending on experience
