Civil Construction Estimator

As a

Civil Construction Estimator , you will play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team to analyze project requirements, estimate costs, and ensure that bids are both accurate and competitive. This position offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to the continued growth and success of the organization and your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimating:

Accurately estimate costs for labor, materials, and other construction resources by reviewing project drawings, specifications, and scope.

Bid Preparation:

Prepare detailed and competitive bids for both public and private projects, ensuring all project costs are identified and accounted for.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare reports on project estimates, provide regular updates to leadership, and keep track of project performance against original estimates.

Multi-Project Management:

Manage multiple estimating tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Civil construction estimator, preferably with a Earthwork/Dirtwork background. Experience in Civil Construction

Skills:

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with construction estimating software Bluebeam.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with external partners.

Problem-Solving:

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to review complex project details and adjust estimates accordingly.

Education:

Degree in construction or finance
