Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer for a position that offers flexibility as either a permanent or contract role. This opportunity includes the option for hybrid working arrangements, allowing for a balance between remote and office-based work.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead the development and review of 3D civil and structural engineering models.\nOversee the production and review of cost-effective civil layouts and structural general arrangement drawings, ensuring they meet specifications and are safe for construction, maintenance, commissioning, and demolition.\nAdhere to and improve discipline-specific procedures and processes.\nPlan resources and manage project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.\nCoordinate design efforts with other disciplines, utilizing both internal and external resources effectively.\nMaintain comprehensive files and records throughout project lifecycles.\nSupervise and support civil design staff, contributing to their professional development.\nEnsure designs consider environmental and health and safety requirements.\nContinuously seek to improve processes and procedures.\nAbout You:\n\nEssential:\n\nExtensive experience in civil engineering design, particularly within the water industry, ensuring constructible standards.\nMembership in a professional institution, either Chartered or approaching Chartered status.\nStrong ability to rationalize designs and develop efficient plant layouts.\n\nPreferred:\n\nDegree in Civil Engineering.\nAt a minimum, an HND in Civil Engineering.\n\nApply today or call (phone number removed) for more information.\n\nOnly those with proof of right to work in the UK should apply for this role
