The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be working alongside a highly skilled group of engineers with vast experience in UK and international projects. Similarly, they will have the opportunity work closely with the directors, enabling them to draw on their expertise directly. Production of designs for infrastructure, drainage strategies, highways schemes and associated planning schemes to appropriate standards from initial concepts to detailed design. Production of all design, drawing and documentation associated with underground drainage systems Production of Flood Risk Assessments Production of External Works specifications and drawings Production of private and small-scale adopted highways design and details, along with associated applications, etc. Assistance in preparation of contract documents and specifications. Undertaking inspections and surveys, preparation of reports and site supervision of projects. Manage small projects or elements of projects as appropriate. Successful candidate specifications: BSc /BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering, or equivalent Min. 1+ years’ experience in the drainage and infrastructure design industry in the UK Experience in preparing and design of underground drainage systems is essential Experience in preparing the designs of different highways schemes is essential Knowledge of DCG and relevant drainage standards and guidance.
