Civil Engineer

Our growing client list include multiple leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects. We are looking for you, our next Civil Engineer to join our high performing team in our Melbourne CBD office (right next to Flagstaff train station). Here's what you’ll be doing day to day: Delivering high quality and innovative civil designs and documentation for single and multi-unit dwellings and basements End to end ownership of project work from concept design to construction within delivery time frames which includes visiting, attending and managing client meetings to discuss scope of works, expectations and problem solving Liaise and manage communications with council’s, variety of clients and developers, and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines Work closely with internal engineers to ensure accurate completion of projects You bring to the table: A minimum qualification of a Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution Previous exposure and experience with designing: Pump systems Onsite detention systems Outfall drains General Civil drainage Ideally structural experience with residential and low rise apartment buildings Experience in the design of structural/residential, residential multi-level building structures, with exposure to the building industry in Australia in residential/ medium density space Experience in design of stormwater and drainage layout for residential buildings Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools including OSD4, Melbourne Stormwater, Music Modelling (preferred) An ability to build rapport with all types of clients and project stakeholders Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes In return by joining Intrax, you will have access to a range of benefits including: Being Recognised - Competitive salary, participation in company short-term incentives and other relevant reward programs.
