Well Established Architectural and Design Firm Seeking An Experienced Civil Engineer

Seeking a qualified Civil Engineer who is motivated to move the company forward.  The firm provides land development and municipal engineering services, including structural, transportation, sanitary and stormwater, green infrastructure, surveying, and construction inspection.

The candidate will be tasked with a variety of tasks ranging from small land development to municipal streets, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, parks and playgrounds, and sidewalks/trails throughout communities in the region.

The position requires the individual to be able work well in a team or as an individual under multiple project deadlines, must have the ability to read and employ local, state, and federal regulations, have knowledge in concepts of hydraulics and hydrology, open & closed channel conveyance, erosion & sediment control, grading and drainage, and street design.

Technical design duties will include design drafting of construction plan sheets and detailing, H&H modeling, report writing, scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimating. The position will also require coordination with subconsultants, public agencies, participation in project meetings, as needed.

Education/Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 5 years of experience .
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• H&H Modeling is beneficial (HydroCAD, StormCAD, and/or SWMM )
• GIS Experience is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment in a growing office.

Certifications/Licenses:  EIT or PE License
