Civil Engineer

Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee the planning execution and delivery of civil engineering projects ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards. Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams including contractors subcontractors and consultants to ensure effective collaboration and smooth project execution. Design Review: Evaluate and approve engineering designs ensuring compliance with UAE regulations safety standards and project requirements. Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets monitor expenses and ensure costeffective solutions are implemented. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients providing regular updates and addressing any concerns related to the project. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress resolve issues and ensure work aligns with design specifications and quality standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local building codes regulations and industry standards. Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports including progress updates financial reports and project performance metrics. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with at least 5 years in a project management role in the UAE. Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction methodologies materials and structural engineering principles. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera MS Project) and tools. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients contractors and stakeholders. ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address project challenges efficiently. Licensing: Valid UAE driving license is required.
