This role involves managing and delivering project designs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing expertise in design and technical solutions. You will lead or work within a team to deliver projects efficiently, accurately, and in line with the organisation’s standards.\n\nResponsibilities will include:\n\nFollow established procedures to ensure safety, sustainability and compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle of infrastructure and civil engineering projects.\n\nTake responsibility for your own health and safety, conducting risk assessments and wearing PPE as required.\n\nProvide technical expertise on a range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects as part of a collaborative project team.\n\nAssist the Civil Engineer in managing and coordinating various project activities.\n\nReview and verify data sheets, calculations, and drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency.\n\nPrepare comprehensive reports for project documentation and stakeholder communication.\n\nPerform quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex design issues, providing innovative solutions.\n\nProactively pursue professional development, with guidance from line managers, to enhance your skills and knowledge.\n\nResearch and apply industry best practices to support innovative standardisation efforts, including the promotion of digital design concepts.\n\nAbout You\n\nMEng/BEng/BSc or HNC in Civil Engineering, Environmental, or a numerate science-related subject.\n\nExperience in Infrastructure, Water Engineering or Asset Management.\n\nProgressing towards or already a member of a relevant professional institution.\n\nIf this is the role for you, then apply today
