Acting as a critical liaison between SCDC and external collaborators, this position will showcase your exceptional project management and organizational skills. Through your contributions, you’ll help bring life to visions that will redefine Class A apartment community living.

From initial planning to execution, you’ll ensure all projects meet regulatory compliance standards while utilizing advanced tools like AutoCAD for precision.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Only candidates with unrestricted U.S. work authorization will be considered.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is but not required.

10+ years of experience in civil project engineering, with a focus on site development, infrastructure, or building projects.

Proficiency in civil project engineering design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or similar).

Strong knowledge of site planning, stormwater management, and utility design principles.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including experience coordinating with external firms or stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with world-class firms and internal teams seamlessly.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with sustainable design practices, green infrastructure, and emerging civil engineering trends is a plus.

A portfolio showcasing Civil Engineering projects will be requested for all candidates.

Additional Details:
This is an on-site role.
We do not offer remote or hybrid working opportunities.
This position is in Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.
The salary range is between $78,000 - $130,000 per year.
Full-Time Benefits: After completion of a probationary period, you will be eligible for full-time company benefits.
The ideal candidate must be available to start within two weeks of acceptance date.
