PrideStaff is seeking a senior civil construction engineer for a company located in Novi, Michigan.

The Civil Construction Engineer is responsible for leading construction projects for lithium-ion battery modules, pack, and container lines in MI. The position will be required to coordinate and supervise the construction process from the start design stage through final construction, making sure that the project gets done on time and within budget.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Oversee and manage construction projects for lithium-ion battery modules, pack, and container lines from start to finish

• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met

• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion. Also, monitor compliance with applicable codes, best practices, Quality Assurance/Quality Control policies, and specifications

• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and adherence to safety standards

• Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders

• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction engineering or a related field

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, design, materials, and methods, including MEP

• Proven experience in managing construction projects

• Proficient in construction project management skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

•  

The must-haves:

• + 5 years experience in construction design and construction project management field

• hands-on experience in CAD, such as AUTO CAD

• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.

• Ability to problem-solve, be creative, self-motivated, methodical, and focused, and have a flexible attitude.
