We are seeking a full-time enthusiastic and professional site design engineer to join our great team in our Westborough, MA Office. In this role, you will have various responsibilities involving the design and oversight of commercial and residential land development projects.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Utilize AutoCAD / Civil 3D and other design tools to prepare site design and grading plans for various land development projects – residential, commercial, institutional, and occasionally municipal;
• Prepare and present reports and permit applications at public meetings detailing proposed designs, environmental benefits and other pertinent information;
• Contribute to new business development;
• Schedule weekly work assignments, prepare proposals and invoices;
• Observe project sites and monitor progress of construction to ensure work conforms to applicable standards, regulations, and design specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• MA PE registration or must a possess an EIT Certificate (with ability to obtain PE registration within 5 years of employment);
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preparing grading, drainage, utility, roadway site design plans and demonstrated permitting experience in MA;
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD / Civil 3D and HydroCAD;
• Soil evaluation certificate and septic design, a plus!
• Strong stormwater hydrology/hydraulics experience;
• Must possess knowledge of town and state land development and construction permitting requirements;
• Working knowledge of land surveying techniques and standards;
• Prior experience in construction administration;
• Ability to work with clients, town boards, cooperating subs, and other project related parties to maintain smooth project management;
• Self-directed, organized and self-motivated to accomplish goals;
• Excellent teamwork, communication and people skills;
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Salary commensurate with experience and registration status/timing.
