Job Description: Job Title: Civil Engineer - ConstructionJob Description:The Civil Engineer - Construction plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various aspects of civil engineering projects from conception to completion. This position involves ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, within budget, and according to design specifications and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities: Project Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Design Review: Review construction designs and plans to ensure they meet regulatory standards, project requirements, and industry best practices. Site Preparation: Oversee site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, and utility installations to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Construction Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and coordination of construction activities, including managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure construction materials and workmanship meet project specifications and quality standards. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site. Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements to maintain project budgets. Change Management: Assess and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate any impacts to stakeholders. Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and any deviations from the project plan. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to address concerns and ensure project objectives are met. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.Previous experience in civil engineering project management or construction supervision.Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address construction challenges and issues as they arise.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability in construction practices.interested candidate can contact through e-mail id - mayur.soni@white-force.incall on - 6264800151
