Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Civil Engineer / Cad Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AutoCad Civil 3D, residential development experience, utility design, proficient in grading within Civil 3D and demonstrate proficiency in the AutoCad software. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project team members to deliver high-quality work that meets specifications and regulatory requirements as directed by the Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil design plans for various projects, residential developments, drainage systems, and site layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to create cohesive designs that align with project goals.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce accurate drawings and schematics.
• Review project plans for completeness and verify the information on the plans for accuracy.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field within Civil Engineering or Related Land development experience.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam and Excel.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Previous experience in AutoCad and Civil 3D design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
