Position:

Otero Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer to work on various Land Development projects commercial/residential/municipal). Typical duties and responsibilities include the design and development of detailed civil construction plans for projects. In addition to engineering experience, additional responsibilities will include project coordination, management, and permitting.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE or the ability to become licensed within one year
• 3+ years of relevant land development engineering and permitting experience
• Experience with site grading, utilities, stormwater management design from the conceptual stage through final design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD a must (Civil 3D a plus)
• Experience with applicable stormwater modeling software
• Understanding of codes, regulations, and permitting requirements as related to the preparation of construction documents
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
