Civil Engineering Draftspersons

About:  One of our clients, CUSTOMBUILD GROUP PTY LTD located in GREENSBOROUGH, VIC, has opportunity for 2 Civil Engineering Draftspersons to join their Design Team. Job Responsibilities: • Drawing, designing, and converting architectural plans into technical plans using AutoCAD software for all structural elements including but not limited to balustrades, pools, granny flats, duplexes, new homes, extensions, and commercial projects. • Document engineering reports and certificates to Australian Standards and other Australian Codes and specification. • Managing clients through efficient and timely communication on existing and proposed projects. • Communicating with the company Director and employees regarding projects. • Providing feedback that indicates completion, work timing, and if required further information to complete the works. • Communicating with engineers, designing and drawing structural plans, sections, and details to Australian Standards and other Australian Codes and specifications. • Drafting of structural elements for glass structures requiring specific glass engineering design. Job Qualifications: EXPERIENCE: • More than three years working in a high-volume small engineering company, drafting and designing structural elements for low-rise residential and commercial construction projects. • More than 2 years of Revit structural experience. • Reinforced concrete buildings, Raft Sab, Waffle Pod Design, Strip Footing, Timber Framing, Structural Steel, Glass Balustrade layout, and Glass detailing. • Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD training. Skills: • Understand how to clearly show existing structural elements with proposed structural elements. • Prepares sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for structural, Stormwater, and glass engineering design. Using relevant programs as AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Span, DesignIT for residential and commercial projects. • Fluent in English.
