Civil Engineering Lead

PE Global Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Lead to join our client on a large-scale Data Centre project in Helsinki-Finland. This is a permanent position on a rotational roster. This role is open to EU Passport Holders. The Client: Our client; specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. Responsibilities Manage, track and develop plans for project costs, budgets, project labour, commissioning procedures and project performance.Directing set up for the civil activities, making sure that best practice meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset.Continuous engagement with Key project stakeholders such as Client and Design Teams to ensure Project performance.Overseeing ongoing client satisfaction with the project, especially in terms of cost, scope, and timescalesProactively monitoring the project’s health & safety processes as well as the team’s culture and behavioursMonitor and ensure the Quality targets are achieved and exceeded on the project Requirements A degree in a relevant construction or engineering subject.Previous experience in a similar role, delivering CSA elements of a project within a contracting environment is essential.Excellent organisational, communication, people and time management skillsProficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is requiredThe ability to build robust relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliersA flair for multitasking, looking at the bigger picture, and providing excellent attention to detailA proactive, diligent, and forward-thinking approachFirst-class leadership skills – you should be able to delegate, prioritize workloads, run productive meetings and be a role model for others
