Responsibilities What your day will look likeDesign and Drafting Cooperate with a mixed team of professionals: engineers, planners, scientists, and a technical and administrative support clusterExemplify proficiency in functional and intricate design (CADD design) of transportation and municipal infrastructure, incorporating water supply, sewers, roads, land development site servicing, drainage, and waste management elements.Learning & DevelopmentCommit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional developmentContribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees Qualifications What you will need to succeedQualificationsHold a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and Valid Registration as a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) or Certified Technician (CTech) in the province of Ontario.Amass 2-5 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering and/or municipal environments. Experience Practical experience in functional and detailed design drawings of various civil, and municipal infrastructure projects including roads, sewers, watermains and drainage worksExhibit proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, along with a working knowledge of Microstation/InRoads softwareUnderstanding of project design and implementation activities including development of design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administrationStrong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills, including the ability work in a team environmentWhy choose DillonDillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
