Civil/Environmental Engineering (Water)- Summer 2025

We’re seeking Civil / Environmental Engineering with an interest in Water Resources and Water/Wastewater Engineering to support the delivery of cutting-edge projects for both local and global clients.

As a Water Resources work would include development and application of environmental and water resources analyses, to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water resources planning activities.

If more interested in the Water/Wastewater side of things your work could include a variety of water treatment projects including providing field investigations and water quality testing on full-scale water and wastewater treatment facilities; conducting water treatment facility pilots, desktop treatment analysis including using membrane performance projections and mass/flow balances; evaluations, design, and commissioning.

In pursuit of a Bachelors or Master degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited program

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Ideally, you’ll also have:

3.0 GPA

A previous , teaching assistance, or research related to water/wastewater

Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Self-driven time management and organizational skills

Have or are working towards an engineer-in-training (EIT) certification
