Job description Permanent Position Mon Friday Immediate start Role Opportunity The Estimator will have demonstrated experience in estimating construction works particularly focused on civil concrete works, including but not limited to Civils, Pipelines, Pump Stations and Earthworks. Benefits Permanent Position Free parking Work with a collaborative team Essential Qualifications & Skills Accredited qualification in Civil Engineering, or related discipline/experience Excellent communication skills with proven ability managing strong relationships Quick decision-making skills, Strong business acumen and negotiation skills Works well under pressure and with the ability to meet tight deadlines Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with the estimating team, leveraging your construction expertise to prepare and submit tenders within set deadlines. Analyze client-provided tender documents to compile material take-offs (MTOs) and relevant details for accurate cost estimation, including indirect and preliminary expenses. Identify and communicate technical queries and clarifications to management. Develop construction schedules for tender submissions. Present tenders, including cost breakdowns and schedules, to management while actively participating in technical discussions during review meetings. Prepare necessary documentation and participate in handover meetings with project managers upon contract award.
