Civil Estimator

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced estimator to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating costs and resources for our various civil contracting projects, ensuring they arepleted on time, within budget, and to our high standards.Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for Underground Servicing, Road Works, Mass Earthworks, Storm Water Management, and Concrete Works projects. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates. Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields.Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role in the civil contracting industry.Strong knowledge of civil contracting principles and practices.Excellent analytical and forecasting skills.The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, detailing their relevant experience and why they would be a great fit for this role.#LI-DNI #1113188 - Bob Bracalenti
