We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a
Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This person will assistoffice engineers and project managers with day-to-day project tasks. This is afull-time role that will be about
3 months long starting in May or Juneof 2025 . This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a

temporary position located in our
Portland, OR
office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
Serve in a field support role, working on technically challenging projects.
Assist engineers and Project Managers with the planning and execution of site characterization programs on various infrastructure and real estate development projects.
Assist with evaluation of subsurface geotechnical and environmental data.
Assist in performing geotechnical design/analysis and developing geotechnical recommendations.
Asist the laboratory manager in running geotechnical testing on soil samples.
Express a willingness to visit construction sites to assist in the field with our construction monitoring service group.
Complete 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training course where required (not all programs will require this training).
Attend weekly Lunch and Learns.
Attend weekly Community Sessions.
Complete a presentation at the end of the Summer to include, but not limited to:
Overall experience, technical projects review, favorite project, biggest obstacle, etc.
Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn.
Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
Computer Skills - Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in all MS Office software.
Driver's license highly .
Ability to work for 3 or more consecutive months on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 weeks ).
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Junior level undergraduate civil/geotechnical engineering coursework completed (required).
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field ().
Enrolled in a civil or geotechnical, or engineering related graduate-level (Master's or PhD) educational program ().
