
Civil Site Engineer
The Civil Site Engineer - Road Projects is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction of road projects. They collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The role involves preparing project proposals, reviewing design plans, and coordinating construction activities. The Civil Site Engineer also manages subcontractors, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with building codes and regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage road construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Review project proposals and design plans to ensure feasibility and compliance.Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to develop project specifications.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address any issues or concerns.Prepare reports, including progress updates and cost analysis, for project stakeholders.Manage project budgets, including monitoring expenses and cost control.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all project-related information.Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams as needed.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.Previous experience in road construction or infrastructure projects.Knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and regulations.Proficient in using design software, project management tools, and computer-aided drafting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
