The Role: We are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to join their engineering team based in Newcastle, NSW. This role will involve working on a range of structural designs for steel and concrete applications, contributing to both small and large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities: Structural conceptual design for steel and concrete applications Detail design for lifting structures, beams, slabs, and pentice structures Produce and review design documentation Work autonomously while contributing to a dynamic team environment Coordinate external consultants (e.g., Surveyors, Geotechnicians) for design inputs Generate engineering and cost estimates where required Deliver high-quality solutions through innovation and collaboration About You: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in relevant field of engineering Familiar with mining structures Preferred to have CPEng and RPEQ Relevant industry experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Space Gass, or Deswik Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Comfortable managing client relationships and travelling when required Newcastle-based or willing to relocate Why Join This Company?
