Due to the ongoing success of this initiative, we are currently looking for highly skilled and motivated Civil/Structural Engineer to join our dedicated team in undertaking the Front-End Engineering Design of cutting-edge industrial fuel switching projects.Position Overview: As a Civil / Structural Engineer within our FEED Fuel Switching team, you will play a leading role in designing, developing and optimising the infrastructure that underpin our industrial solutions projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers and project managers to deliver engineering solutions contributing to a low-carbon and energy resilient future.Key Responsibilities:Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge engineering solutions for future energy projects, with a primary focus on FEED and Industrial Fuel Switching. Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure and systems, identifying opportunities for industrial fuel switching and implementing solutions that optimise energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Provide technical expertise in civil and structural engineering design, ensuring the safety, stability, and sustainability of projects. Prepare comprehensive project proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates, while adhering to regulatory and industry standards. Foster strong client relationships by effectively communicating complex engineering concepts and project progress, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the energy sector, contributing to the continuous improvement of GHD's services and offerings. Collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, industry partners, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable. Proven experience in civil and structural engineering, with a strong focus on energy-related projects, FEED, and industrial fuel switching.Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Proficiency in industry-standard software for structural analysis and design. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
