Bennett and Game are collaborating with a well-established contracting business that has been delivering highway services for 49 years across various challenging and complex networks. Serving both public and private sector clients, they possess the expertise to tackle the demands of the modern road network. With a rise in long-term contracts, they are expanding their civils team to specifically cover Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hillingdon, and surrounding counties and boroughs.\n\nAs a supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and organizing resources, including labour and equipment, to achieve maximum efficiency and output safely.

You will ensure that the company's health, safety, and quality standards are met, consistently exceeding client expectations.\n\nSite Supervisor Position Remuneration \n\nSalary DOE\nCompany Car\nPhone\nHoliday\nPensionSite Supervisor Position Overview\n\nDirect individual foremen, plan future workloads to meet contract targets, and monitor production progress.\nCoordinate and supervise daily activities of direct labour and subcontractors.\nPlace timely and accurate orders for materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to client standards.\nManage and allocate resources, including plant, equipment, and vehicles, to maximize efficiency.\nMaintain and submit daily diaries at the end of each site visit, including dimensions, supply issues, and waiting times.\nReport observations, near-misses, and assist in incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out.\nComplete site-specific risk assessments and prepare site packs with appropriate control measures for safe work execution.\nEnsure all plant checks are completed.\nDeliver Toolbox Talks and briefings to the team.\nCommunicate daily with customers and contract management to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets all requirements.Site Supervisor Position Requirements\n\nNVQ level 3 / 4 construction supervision - Desirable\nSurfacing and highways experience\nCSCS, SMSTS, NRSWA\nUnderstanding of CDM regulations and relevant standards and specifications\nExperience of dealing with the commercial elements capture all costs and potential value streamsBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
