Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor



Salary: £28,000 per annum



Location: Southampton



We are looking for a Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to assist in managing our client’s NHS contract for compliance, performance, customer satisfaction and commercial success.



* Supervising the core functions of the Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance teams



* Contract compliance in line with the specification



* Performance management and development of staff



* Formulating and implementing cleaning programmes



* Ensuring rectifications or ad-hoc issues are responded to in a timely manner



* Compliance with all relevant statutory requirements including Health & Safety



* Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained to the required standard



* Regularly analyse stock and procure any equipment/materials necessary



* Provide and record staff training



* Monitor, review and improve cleaning services



* Planning of work and schedules with constant review and improvement



* Build professional relationships with all stakeholders



* Ability to work closely with the management team and colleagues



* Coach and motivate colleagues to deliver services in line with contract specification



* Monitor staff performance and behaviour
