Emergency Physicians of Tidewater (EPT) is seeking a CLINICAL PROJECT COORDINATOR (Part Time) to join our team! As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a critical role in supporting Southeastern Virginia’s leading group of Emergency Medicine (EM) clinicians. This high-visibility position will partner with EPT physician leaders who chair both the Clinical Process Improvement (CPI) team and High-Performance Team (HPT) programs across all of our partner health system’s Emergency Medicine Departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HPT and CPI Chairs with management of respective committee projects, assignments, meetings and presentations
  • Establish/Maintain solid working relationships with Staff, Physicians, PAs/NPs
  • Create strong alliances with regional health system Emergency Medicine Leaders
  • Identify opportunities to enhance best practices through data analysis and effective peer communication
  • Support EPT executive leaders (President, COO, Board of Directors) as requested
  • Collaborate with peer Project Coordinator on practice operations-related tasks and activities

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in healthcare administrative setting - practice or hospital based
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Certification and/or demonstrable successes in in Healthcare Operations, Quality (QA/QI), Project Management, Analytics or similar discipline STRONGLY

Additional Notes

  • PART-TIME (30-32 hours/week) position
  • Hybrid work environment (local candidate required); flexible scheduling options
  • Opportunity to transition to FULL-Time status in future
  • Position does NOT involve clinical research or clinical trials
