The Company

Our client is an ASX-listed company in the midst of a number of highly critical business related IT projects. With several upgrade projects currently underway in their resource’s portfolio, they are looking for Cloud Engineer (OSIsoft PI) to assist with this.

 

The Role

This role is centred on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Plant Information Management System, facilitating the transfer from the process control network to the business network and Cloud environment, and providing associated tasks and services.

This is a Perth based contracting role.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable and secure IT operations in PCN/OT Plant Information Management System including Time-series data and IoT systems while enabling digital capabilities. 
• Executing OT site requests for PCN Infrastructure support and developing new site capability requests working with platform teams.
• Design, deploy, manage, monitor and maintain PCN Plant Information Management System infrastructure and IoT platform capabilities.
• Build relationships and partner with architects, infrastructure analysts, software engineers, other cloud engineers and product owners to provide robust and reliable PCN Operations.
• Development and deployment of new capabilities to support the modernization of PCN/OT engineering needs, the enhancement of existing solutions to advance business capabilities, as well as orchestrating and automation of OT platforms throughout the enterprise.
• Maintaining technical documentation, reports and records regarding infrastructure solutions.
• Provide security compliance and design to ensure systems are compliant with relevant policies, standards, technical controls.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, offshore operations, and/or LNG.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise OSISoft PI environments.
• Strong knowledge of supporting and implementing MS Azure cloud services and infrastructure systems, including compute, storage, networking, and automation principles.
• Solid understanding of security compliance and design for the OSISoft PI product.
• Perth based with full working Australian rights.
• A tertiary qualification is essential.
