Cloud Engineer – Senior – TS/SCI required

HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER – SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Under general supervision, has duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of other project engineers.
Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Leads a group of engineers, analysts, and/or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group of engineers associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support).
Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although may provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 10 years of experience
Required Skillset:Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts.
Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues.
Write and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, etc.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI
Required Certification(s):DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent
Location: On Customer Site
Additional:Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity
Travel may be required to support the mission

The likely salary range for this position is $184,049 - $249,007. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
