This is a new contract, and the team is just developing. It's a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a new team using the latest tech in an infrastructure-as-code environment. This team has a lot of growth potential, and idea for someone looking to grow their skills. This position works afternoon/evening shifts, with some weekends and holidays.

This position is a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer. Responsible for fulfilling Tier 1-3 Tenant requests to include monitoring operational environments, provisioning Tenant VPCs, configuring roles, addressing tenant access requests, and escalating service requests as required.

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems, including monitoring network availability and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability and network security measures
  • 1+ year experience with scripting including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
  • 3+ years experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
  • 1+ year experience with Amazon Web Services, containers
  • 1+ year experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory

Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as necessary

Active TS clearance with SCI Eligibility

Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and an AWS certification within 30 days of start

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study; 6 years of experience administering IT systems may substitute for academic degree
