Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, robust, and secure cloud-based systems on the AWS platform. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and best practices to guide technical teams and ensure the successful deployment of cloud solutions. This role requires expertise in architecture design, hands-on cloud system implementation, and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver high-performance, fault-tolerant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS to meet business and technical requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are aligned with best practices and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical and non-technical) to develop and implement robust cloud solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Select appropriate AWS services based on specific data, compute, database, and security needs.
• Lead the technical design and deployment of distributed systems and applications in the AWS Cloud.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements for cloud solutions and ensure these solutions meet the organization's needs and objectives.
• Assess the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications or optimizations to improve performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide education on cloud architecture principles, best practices, and new technologies to technical and non-technical teams.
• Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance regulations.
• Lead technical discussions and help integrate new technologies to enhance cloud system capabilities.
• Maintain expertise in cloud storage, backup solutions, and disaster recovery practices provided by AWS.
• Ensure operational support for cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage cloud infrastructure tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow for ITIL ticketing, and Archer GRC for governance, risk, and compliance management.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in cloud computing technologies and trends to improve cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience with operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.
• 10+ years of experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• 10+ years of experience providing architectural guidance and oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• 10+ years of experience collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.
• 8+ years of experience identifying and gathering requirements to define cloud solutions and infrastructure.
• 8+ years of experience assessing existing infrastructure and recommending necessary modifications or improvements.
• 8+ years of experience educating teams on architectural principles, best practices, and new cloud technologies.
• 8+ years of experience ensuring solutions comply with security standards and best practices.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical design discussions to introduce new technologies and practices.
• 8+ years of experience working with AWS storage and backup solutions.
• 8+ years of experience using ITIL-based ticketing tools such as Remedy and ServiceNow.
• 8+ years of experience managing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes using tools like Archer.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, and other standard networking protocols.
• General knowledge of database software such as Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, etc.
• Knowledge of and access management (IAM) and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience in staying updated on the latest cloud computing developments and improving cloud infrastructure.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification or equivalent cloud certification.
