CNC Machinist / Quality Inspector

Fortis Recruitment are working with a great precision engineering client in the Milton Keynes area to recruit a quality inspector to join their team who also has experience setting / operating CNC milling machines. You will be inspecting components to tight tolerances and using hand tools and a CMM. The quality inspector will also need to complete all the relevant paperwork.



This position is Monday – Friday 0800 – 1730, although there is normally an early finish on a Friday. There is occasionally overtime on Saturday mornings.



This position is based in a small engineering company so you may be asked to help out other departments, as such experience working with CNC mills or lathes would be a distinct advantage.



Key requirements / responsibilities



* Inspection with hand tools



* Experience with CMMs



* Able to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T



* Experience with CNC mills or lathes



This position has come about because of retirement so we are interviewing immediately.



This quality inspector role would suite a quality inspector with previous CNC experience or a CNC machinist who is looking to come off the machines and has done their own inspection.
