/ Co-Op – Environmental Engineering / Geology

position in our

Orlando or Titusville, FL

office.

This is a paid position that offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world situations while also learning the business skills needed for a successful consulting career. The duration of this is approximately 12-16 weeks, to begin during the summer of 2025. Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools;


Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;


Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures;


Follow instructions and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel; and


Fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling and remedial system operation and maintenance.


Local travel or driving to project sites as needed.


Fieldwork: Up to 90%


Overnight travel: Up to 25%

Education and Licensure

Degree focus area in environmental engineering, geology (or related). ()


Currently registered in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree program in a relevant

discipline. (required)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office. (required)


Must be comfortable doing fieldwork in multiple weather conditions ()


Relevant experience. ()


Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills. (required)


Valid U.S. driver’s license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record to drive to project sites. (required)
