As we continue expanding our operations, we seek a talented and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate the costs of construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other factors.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand the full scope of projects.
• Conduct site visits and analyze site conditions to identify risks and challenges.
• Work closely with suppliers and contractors to negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Review civil plans, architectural plans, and specifications for bidding and project management purposes
• Prepare estimates and bid proposals
• Run project pre-construction meetings
• Be Ready to travel to jobs around Michigan.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management and/or construction estimating
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Proficient in using construction estimating software such as Edge or Quickbid.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., Certified Construction Estimator or software certifications) is a plus.
