Stellar Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time commercial construction Estimator. Stellar is an aggressive, energetic, growing company with opportunities for personal growth. Our Company is based out of Sarasota, FL and performs work throughout the state.

Skills/qualifications should include:

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience
• construction management degree
• knowledge of local subcontractor pool
• ability to use Microsoft Office software
• good communication skills
• organized
• attention to details

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects from preliminary design through to completion. This includes labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop and submit competitive bids based on project specifications, drawings, and other documentation. Ensure bids are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with project requirements.
• Manage subcontractor pool to ensure adequate and accurate coverage for all scopes of work on bid day.
• Assemble detailed estimates for Construction Management projects at schematic, design-development, and construction document phases.
