Job Summary
As an Assistant Project Manager (APM) specializing in Commercial Flooring General Contracting (GC), you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of commercial flooring projects. Your expertise in construction and flooring installation will contribute to the successful completion of projects within the designated timelines and quality standards that helped build our stellar reputation. This position has a very high ceiling if you have the skillset, organizational abilities as well as software tech savvy skills needed to grow your Divisions book of business. We have been around for over 35 years and only specialize in Commercial Flooring for High End GC's
Duties
- Review and interpret project schematics and blueprints
- Coordinate water damage restoration efforts as needed
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting for flooring projects
- Oversee remodeling projects, ensuring adherence to specifications
- Manage flooring installation processes, including concrete finishing, tile laying, and drywall tasks
- Supervise construction painting activities to meet project requirements
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial flooring installation and general contracting
- Familiarity with construction site management practices
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques
- Proficiency in tile laying and drywall installation
- Ability to interpret and work with project schematics effectively
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Base is $65k-$75K plus Project Performance Bonus on quantity of commercial flooring projects managed per year. Most PM's make $100k-$200k some even more!
