We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team in American Fork, UT. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial ground up projects, retail ground up projects, fast food restaurant construction, and office ground up projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial construction project management.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Managing all phases of the construction process, including design, coordination, and supervision of construction crews.
3. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
4. Preparing and managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts.
5. Ensuring all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Communicating effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success.
7. Identifying and resolving any potential issues or delays that may impact project completion.
8. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality construction standards are met.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Commercial Construction Project Manager position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a focus on commercial ground up projects, retail ground up projects, fast food restaurant construction, and office ground up projects.
2. A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
6. Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
