Commercial Director (Head of Business Operation)

We are in search of an accomplished Head of Business Operations to enhance the value of our growth initiatives by identifying new commercial opportunities and overseeing marketing endeavors. The incumbent will remain abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic counsel to upper management.This role encompasses cross-regional business responsibilities, including Taiwan and two other Asian countries, and entails the management of four teams: Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will possess creative strategic thinking coupled with exceptional organizational abilities. The primary objective is to promote and expand the company's commercial activities, generating revenues and fostering sustainable growth. Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and PlanningDevise and implement the sales strategy for the Japanese market in alignment with the company's overarching goals and objectives.Identify market prospects, industry trends, and conduct competitive analyses to drive business expansion and market outreach.Set ambitious sales objectives and formulate sales projections and budgets.Sales Team ManagementCultivate and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure individual and collective achievements.Establish sales territories, quotas, and benchmarks, closely monitoring performance against set targets.Recruit, train, and nurture sales professionals, fostering a culture of continuous advancement and excellence. Customer Relationship ManagementCultivate and sustain robust connections with key clients, partners, and distributors.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product management, to synchronize sales strategies and enhance client satisfaction.Comprehend client requisites, market trends, and industry dynamics to propose innovative solutions and drive customer loyalty. Business DevelopmentRecognize and pursue novel business openings and partnerships to broaden our brand's market presence in Japan.Take the lead in negotiations and closing crucial deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Qualifications and Skills• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a closely related field.• Demonstrate a track record of successful leadership in sales, marketing, or customer success, including the achievement of revenue targets within the technology industry. This experience should span a minimum of 5+ years, specifically in AI/EC/SaaS business.• Exhibit proficient leadership capabilities, showcasing the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.• Display exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both in English and Mandarin.• Have proven experience in negotiating business contracts and commercial terms with channel partners.• Embrace a strategic outlook, complemented by a customer-centric approach and sharp business acumen.• Possess analytical and data-driven skills, enabling the effective leverage of market insights and sales data for informed decision-making.• Exhibit a proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
