Commercial Electrician Helper

Job DescriptionJob Description

Learn to use appropriate hand and power tools to properly assist electricians in performing his/her duties, including, but not limited to:

• Measuring, cutting, and pulling wire or cable
• Install various electrical boxes
• Install various light fixtures
• Overhead conduit or cable installation
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects, such as wiring, conduit
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep supplies and parts in order
• Load, transport, unload, and furnish electrician with materials, tools and supplies
• Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
• Help install all other related items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications
• Perform other routine duties as directed by experienced Electricians

Job Requirements

• Transport to and from job sites around the Kissimmee, Saint Cloud, and Orlando area
• Work from all types of step ladders, frame ladders, and all size extension ladders
• Work in all elements of weather depending on job location, time of year: heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
