Commercial Estimator

Working in the Insurance Build sector as a Commercial Estimator, you will have an engaging style, stroke business acumen and able to hit the ground running.  This is an exceptional opportunity utilise your building network and trade base in a supportive, fast paced environment.    Responsibilities: Attend major loss sites as required. Project manage complex make safes alongside the construction team. Conduct detailed cause of damage assessments on various property insurance claims. Compile detailed scopes of work and quotes for major loss claims. Complete tenders based on supplied scopes of work. Build and submit tentative project schedules using Microsoft Project as part of the tender process. Review and interpret various drawings and specifications. Review large tenders in conjunction with Senior Management. Play an active role throughout the life cycle of claim, compiling and reviewing variations and accompanying reports Forecast monthly sales and ensure compliance with set KPIs. Foster strong relationships with key personnel in the insurance sector. Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Project. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of Health & Safety policies. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments. Familiarity with Insurance Contracts Act. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively. Experience in negotiation and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
