Job Opportunity: Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer\nWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer with a solid background in the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently or as part of a team, consistently demonstrating trustworthiness, reliability, and a strong work ethic.\nRole Overview:\n * Salary: £48,000 - £55,000, plus overtime and bonuses\n * Contract Type: Permanent\n * Location: United Kingdom (applicants must have the right to work in the UK)\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Carry out commercial gas work, both independently and as part of a team.\n * Perform fault diagnosis and repair of commercial heating systems and appliances.\n * Conduct routine maintenance, safety checks, and repairs of gas appliances and plant room systems.\n * Support plumbing and mechanical tasks as necessary.\n * Participate in the call-out rota and work outside regular hours when required.\nRequired Qualifications and Experience:\n * \n Essential Certifications:\n * COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, CCN1, CENWAT\n * Gas Safe registered\n * Full UK driving license\n * \n Additional Desired Qualifications:\n * F-Gas certification ()\n * Asbestos awareness training\n * NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)\n * \n Experience:\n * Minimum 3 years of commercial sector experience.\n * Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems.\n * Strong knowledge of heating, electrical, and BMS control systems.\n * Expertise in diagnosing and resolving plant room system faults.\nKey Skills and Attributes:\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.\n * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.\n * Flexible approach to working hours and client needs.\n * Proactive attitude and a desire to take ownership and advance in the role.\nAdditional Requirements:\n * Must be authorized to work in the UK.\n * Willing to travel and work overtime when necessary.\n * Open to participating in out-of-hours callouts
