Commercial Gas Engineer

The Commercial Gas Engineer is accountable for the delivery of safe, compliant domestic and commercial maintenance for all our Client Accounts, this is to include existing and new clients. They would also have good knowledge of commercial energy centres and have a good technical ability for fault finding.



The engineer would also be flexible to complete plumbing tasks when they had no commercial gas work scheduled.



A strong, factual relationship should be maintained between the office and remote team.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities



Gas, Plumbing & Heating Engineer’s Duties



· Dealing with general plumbing and heating reactive calls as and when required



· Dealing with commercial gas planned and reactive calls as and when required



· Carry out planned plumbing and heating calls



· HIU Service and maintenance



· Use of company CRM system



· Attending both commercial sites and private dwellings



· Ability to clearly identify both domestic and commercial gas, plumbing and heating issues and rectify



· Ability to accurately quote any remedial works on a time and material basis



· Become member of Call-out Rota to achieve 1 week in 5



· Commercially aware



· Updating maintenance system to ensure reports can be sent to clients in a timely manner.



· Ensuring that maintenance work is processed in a timely manner



· Communicating with sub-contractors and Woodford engineers daily



· Improving the standard of our client’s buildings / maintenance



· Working closely with property maintenance managers to ensure a one-team approach to management of maintenance issues.



· Always demonstrate professionalism.



· Deliver great customer service to our clients and contractors



· Building outstanding working relationships with our clients, contractors and other departments within the business



The successful candidate should be Gas Safe registered and have CCN1 (Domestic Gas Safety) or equivalent.

Pay: £40,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
